Pinterest is such an awesome place for inspiration of all kinds. The other day I came across a picture of this girl wearing a really pretty vintage swim suit (pictured below) and instantly saved it to do my nails. Hope you guys like it!
Today I have this beautiful classy look for you. It's just so pretty and delicate looking. I really really love these. And it's so easy to do. I used "Brushstroke Blush" and "Oh My Gauche" from Finger Paints. Sally Beauty Supply was having buy one get one free on Finger Paints and these are the two that I picked up. This gold glitter is amaaaaaing! I couldn't wait to use these. Two coats of each used here. Filigree artwork I just freehanded with acrylic paint. It's so easy. It's just swirls, how can you mess that up!
Hi lovelies! I have really been into all black and white nail looks lately so I decided to do one. This look was inspired by @naildiva209 on Instagram. I used "Stripped" and "Commando" both by Polish My Life, available 2/20. The black and clear stones are both from Born Pretty Store.
Happy Monday! I did this really cute and easy nail look today. I'm not entirely sure if this is what watercolor nails are, but that's what I'm saying they are. LOL. I started with a white base. Then I dabbed out a little bit of my colors on a piece of foil, then dipped my brush into pure acetone then into the color and started tapping them around my nail working with one color at a time. Then once I had the nail completely covered I went back over some spots to further blend the colors and thin them out with just acetone until I got it how I wanted it. Then I topped it all off with Northern Lights from INM. All the products I used are listed below.
I have a really special post for you guys today! It is Love, Angeline's one year business anniversary and she has collaborated with a group of us bloggers to create our own signature polish! I am so overjoyed and honored that I've had the opportunity to work with Natosha! Love, Angeline was the first indie brand I ever tried and it was her very first collection and she asked me to swatch for her. Now it's all come full circle and we've made a wonderful friendship. Not only is she a beautiful person inside and out, she has one of the best indie brands in the business. Happy Birthday Love, Angeline!!! Now on to the polishes! We all must have been sharing the mojo because this collection all fits so perfectly! And we didn't know what each others were going to be! I guess we love greens. Haha.
DON'T RUFFLE MY FEATHERS
First up is mine! I chose a mint green crelly base with a beautiful subtle gold shimmer, gold holo squares and pink holo hexes. She absolutely nailed it!! I love it so much. This is two coats plus topcoat.
IN THE ABSENCE OF
This was Natosha's personal creation. A beautiful classy white with flashes of aqua, copper and purple shimmer. This is only two coats plus topcoat.
IF YOU WANT THE RAINBOW
This was Kendra's (@thepolishedokie) collaboration. A blue grey scattered holo with white flakies. So unique! Two coats plus topcoat.
This was Vanessa's (@mrslochness) collaboration. A blackened purple with mulitple color flashes and silver holo. Two coats plus topcoat. This has a bit of a gritty texture just because of all of the glitter but once you put topcoat it's fine.
LET ME FLY
This was Gaby's (@lacquerloon) collaboration. A teal holo with green flecks and two iridescent glitters. So so so pretty! This is two coats plus topcoat.
SHADE OF THE EVENING
This was in collaboration with @acciolacquer. A gorgeous deep green jelly with gold shimmer but looks green from the tint. Other than mine of course, I'd say this is my favorite! I believe this was three coats but I can't remember for certain. Plus topcoat.
These are available now for preorder! Now through Sunday 2/16! The Blogger Collection officially releases 2/28 and preorders will not ship until then. Order now to ensure you get what you want!
DISCLAIMER: Press samples sent for review. These are my 100% honest opinions. I was not compensated in any way nor am I affiliated with Love, Angeline Polish.
It was inevitable that Polish My Life would come out with a basics collection which included a black and a white! Polish My Life is the best in the business for indie cremes and everyone knows how hard it is to find a good black and white polish. The Bare Undies Collection also features a pale nude off white shade. This collection plus the two shimmer toppers shown later in this post will all be available 2/20!
That holy grail white creme perfect as an undie for your glitter bombs or white crellies! We all know how hard white polish is to work with. Most of the time they are streaky, thick or goopy. Well no need to fret any longer. Shaneka has done it again, nothing short of amazing with her cremes and Stripped is no exception. Now this is not a one coater like some whites can be. This is a thinner formula but definitely not streaky at all. I have applied three coats for full opacity and evenness for me. But remember with my longer nails things that used to take two coats now take three. The average person can probably get away with two coats on this. And this is with no topcoat!!!
A very pale nude more of an off white shade. Again perfect for those basic neutral manis. This reminds me of Lime Crime "Milky Ways" but it's a tad lighter. Amazing smooth application only needing two coats for opacity. And no topcoat!
A super sleek sexy black creme. Absolutely perfect formula. This is ONE COAT!!! Don't you just love a one coater?! Also, no topcoat.
And now for the two shimmer toppers. These look best over a dark base but will add a beautiful faint sparkle to any mani!
A beautiful topper to add flare to any nail look with a gold/green shimmer. As always an amazing smooth formula. This is two coats over Commando. No topcoat.
Another topper with a blue/purple shimmer. This is two coats over Commando. No topcoat.
